I bought a new 22″ monitor this christmas. Nice one, but one pixel turned out to be dead (and irritatingly green too). LG’s warranty didn’t seem to cover it unless there were more than one dead pixel. Darn!

Luckily, after some Googling around I found Undead pixel, a simple little application meant to re-animate the dead little bastards. And it actually worked! Granted, I was giving the pixel a slight massage the manual way at the time it came back to life, so I can’t say whether it is UDPixel or my finger that has the necromantic power. Never mind, I now have a monitor that works. Yay!
